You'll need
Matting with fabric in plaid red size 53 X 103 cm; silk thread 2 addition of black, white, Golden colors; embroidery needle; sewing thread red.
Progress
Prior to embroidery the edges of the matting should be 2 times the bend on the wrong side of narrow side — by 3.5 cm wide and 1.5 cm Hem them a hidden seam.
Pattern embroidered double-sided embroidery, "pigtail", seam "forward needle". Motif localized at the narrow ends of the product.
Step back from the edge of 4 cm, and run the seam "pigtail" thread in white in 3 additions. Joint width must be 4 mm. Attach yarn on the wrong side, bring the needle with the working thread on the front side to the left of the edge of the product. Make a diagonal stitch up and to the right, taking 2-3 threads of the fabric. Go from the top of the strips to the bottom, making a vertical stitch on the reverse side. Make the 2nd diagonal stitch on top of the 1st right-to-left. Then go back to the beginning of the 1st stitch, pulling the needle at the same point, and make a 3rd diagonal stitch on top of the first two. It needs to be longer than 1 or 2 threads of the fabric.
If the thread in the process, had an affair, you must give it freely to hang. Then it will uncurl and come back to normal.
Pull the needle with the working thread on the bottom and stripes on top of the previous stitches make a diagonal stitch, back exactly to the beginning of the 2nd stitch. Again go back to the beginning of the 1st stitch and make the next diagonal stitch longer than the previous by 1 or 2 threads. On the wrong side, run a vertical stitch down the front — a diagonal stitch up and to the left. It should be a little shorter than the previous one and end at the end of the 1st stitch. Repeat all previous steps again, remembering that between the stitches should be about 2 mm, not more. Thus embroider all stripes.
The second "pigtail" embroider exactly the same, but slightly higher — at a distance of 16 mm from the 1st. Between "pigtails" make the squares thick double-sided satin stitch with threads of black and gold colors 2 addition. Each square start to embroider new thread. Place the stitches close to each other, of the same length. Alternate black and gold squares between them.
The third "pigtail" embroider at a distance of 6 cm from the 2nd towards the middle of the tablecloth. Between them place the diamonds white and black squares. Those and other details embroider double-sided surface. Diamonds run in 12 rectangles. Each rectangle embroider 5 stitches. In the middle of the rhombuses make a small Golden box 2 stitches.
Black squares position between white diamonds. Then with the 2 sides of this pattern to make stitching the seam "forward a needle" with a gold thread in 3 additions. The length of each stitch should be 4 mm. the Distance between them is 2 mm.
On the 3rd "pigtail" performed bilateral stitch several squares Golden color and the number of black squares. Black squares place a bit higher between the gold squares. The squares should be the same size as in the 1st row.
Close the pattern stitching made with white thread in 3 addition, seam "back needle".
The following series embroider diamonds, consisting of 4 squares with black thread in 2 additions. Between them make white squares. And diamonds, and squares embroider double-sided surface. Close range seam "back needle" with white thread in 2 additions. Finish the pattern by ticks, embroidered with a seam "forward a needle" white and black threads in 3 addition.
On the other hand narrow edge tablecloths follow the same pattern. With a wide brim embroider line, seam "forward needle" thread in white and black colors (Fig. 59).
