"The owner of the mountain valley" is a work based on English artist sir Edwin Henry Landseer. In the nineteenth century, Landseer was the most popular animal painter, not only in England but throughout Europe. In keeping with traditional English sentimentalism and in the spirit of ideas of his time about the presence of mind and higher mental abilities in animals, Landseer wrote to horses, deer and dogs of different breeds. The inhabitants of the highlands of Scotland - mountain deer Landseer began to write in the 1840-ies.
