Candlesticks

Few people indifferent candles. A flickering candle flame mesmerizing, mysterious shadows moving on the ceiling and walls: it is interesting and scary. Candles — accessories of many holidays, that's why candlesticks is one of the traditional gifts. They can be metal, ceramic, stone. And we offer you to make them out of soft wire and frosted glass discs.


MATERIALS
(one candle)
wire for flower arrangements
2 cups of hard liquor (one slightly bigger than the other)
a short section of copper tube
discs of frosted glass
universal adhesive

pliers with sharp jaws
pliers


Wrap wire larger Cup to make a cone. Freely wrap the wire on the glass: it looks impressive, if the turns are sloppy. Remove the finished cone from the Cup.



Wrap the wire a short section of copper tube. Make a few wire spirals to decorate the top of the candlestick. Start navit spiral pointed-nose pliers, and finish it by hand: wire for floral arrangements soft, can be operated manually, spiral and irregular in shape look better.



Place the glass disk on the bottom of the little Cup. Then glue on top of it the following (let the glue dry completely before sticking the new drive). Continue the process until the candle reaches the desired height.



Stick the cut copper tube on top of the stack of disks.



Put a wide wire cone on a candlestick. Push up the top windings to cover the stack of glass disks. Put narrow wire winding on the copper tube and link both windings.



Thread the ends of the wire spiral through the windings of the copper tube. The pliers attach the ends. Bend the spiral at angles to the candlestick.
